DAILY NEWS TROPICANA ATLANTIC CITY SWEEPSTAKES
OFFICIAL RULES - NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN
MUST BE 21 YEARS OF AGE OR OLDER
TO ENTER: Complete entry form or write your name, address, age and daytime and evening phone numbers on a piece of paper or index card and send it via 1st class mail in a #10 envelope to: Daily News Tropicana Atlantic City Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 3311, G.P.O., New York, NY 10116 or enter online at http://www.nydailynews.com/contests. Entries must be received no later than 5:00 PM (EST) on Friday, March 28, 2008. No mechanically reproduced or illegible entries accepted. Daily News, L.P. (“Sponsor”) is not responsible for lost, late, misdirected, postage-due, incomplete or mutilated entries or unsuccessful attempts to enter. Express, Priority, Registered, Certified and oversized mail are ineligible. If there is a dispute as to the identity of the online entrant, the prize will be awarded to the authorized account holder of the e-mail address. The “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the e-mail address is assigned by an internet service provider, online service provider or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Sweepstakes begins on March 9, 2008 and ends 5:00 PM EST on March 28, 2008.

PRIZE AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE:
Grand Prize (1): ): One (1) night hotel accommodations at the Tropicana Casino and Resort located in Atlantic City, New Jersey; $150 gourmet dinner for two (2) at Cuba Libre Restaurant; $150 gourmet dinner for two (2) at Rum Bar; VIP access to Diamond Jim’s Players Lounge and Top of The Trop; VIP access to a private player’s event or show; $100 Quarter Gift Card; VIP access to nightclubs and VIP service at Providence Nightclub and complimentary services at bluemercury® apothecary∙spa. Grand Prize must be redeemed by December 24, 2008 and is subject to availability and black out dates.

DRAWING: : Winner will be determined in a random drawing to be conducted on or about March 28, 2008 from all eligible entries. An independent judge whose decisions are final shall conduct the random drawing. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received. Winner must execute an affidavit of eligibility and release. If winner does not respond to prize notification within two (2) days or if affidavit and release is not signed, notarized and returned within five (5) days of response to notification, prize may, at Sponsor’s sole discretion, be forfeited and an alternate prize winner may be selected in a similar random drawing. Upon prize forfeiture, no compensation will be given.
ELIGIBILITY: Sweepstakes is free to enter and open to legal U.S. residents (except FL and RI residents) 21 years or older at the time of entry. Employees and the immediate family or those living in the same household as employees of the Daily News, L.P., Tropicana, Inc. and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, and agents, are ineligible to enter. Sweepstakes void where prohibited by law and is subject to federal, state and local laws. New York law governs this sweepstakes.
GENERAL CONDITIONS: Winner is responsible for federal, state and local taxes. No substitution of prizes permitted by winner. Prize is not for resale, cannot be redeemed for cash, is not transferable or exchangeable, and cannot be used in conjunction with any discount, premium or rebate offer. Sponsor reserve the right to substitute the prize with one of equal or greater value if prize is unavailable. Winner and his/her guest are responsible for any activities not included in the Grand Prize, including, without limitation, all local, long distance, or international telephone calls, ground transportation, airfare, merchandise, souvenirs, incidental expenses, travel insurance, or any other costs and expenses not mentioned herein. Acceptance of prize constitutes permission to use winner’s name, photographs and likeness for purposes of advertising and promotion without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned due to, without limitation, errors in these Official Rules or advertising for this sweepstakes, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, human error or any other cause beyond the control of Sponsor that, in the sole judgment of Sponsor, could corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes. Entry constitutes entrant’s certification that he/she meets the eligibility requirements set forth in these official rules. By entering, entrants agree at all times to defend, indemnify, release and hold harmless Daily News, L.P., Tropicana, Inc. and their respective affiliates, subsidiaries, directors, officers, employees, insurers and agents from and against any and all claims, actions, liabilities, injuries, death, accidents, losses or damages of any kind resulting directly or indirectly from any and all activity related to entering and/or participating in this Sweepstakes or from the acceptance or use of prize. If due to a printing, production or other error, more prizes are claimed than are intended to be awarded; the Grand prize will be awarded in a random drawing from among all verified and validated entry forms. In no event will more than one (1) Grand Prize be awarded. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules. For the name of the prize winner, send a stamped, self addressed envelope after March 29, 2008 to: Winner’s List, Daily News Tropicana Atlantic City Sweepstakes at address below. Requests received without a self-addressed, stamped envelope will not be filled except for residents of Vermont. Requests for winner’s name will be honored up to one month after final drawing date.
